Catchy Title Goes Here: sailortyria replied to your post: Debating on going to an urgent care...
wat. did i miss something? what is hurting?? and go to a clinic or the er. why are you even debating this? :( be ok bbcakesI woke up a few mornings ago and my shoulder felt really weird, kinda…
Sounds like a pinched nerve or something involving a nerve. BUT I AM NOT A NURSE/DOCTOR! Yet. >:P
I would try out a good chiropractor first, if you can. Or a good deep tissue massage therapist. Specifically deep tissue. Either of those types will be knowledgeable about the muscles and the bones enough to not fuck things up even more and will alleviate pain even if they can’t permanently fix what’s going on.
I recommend those first because traditional medical doctors will shove you full of medicines that mask the pain but don’t do shit for the real problem. Alternative healers can usually pinpoint what’s going on and either fix it, help you and then tell you what steps to take next without costing you a million dollars or filling you up with medications that won’t actually fix things. Of course, like most professions, there are idiots who give a bad rep. I only go to those my grandmother knows/goes to and they are always excellent, so I don’t know what to tell you about finding good ones in your area. :(That’s been my experience since I was a kid, YMMV.
Take care of yourself and seek help soon. If it *is* a pinched nerve then you can really do permanent damage if you don’t fix it right away.
I am sorry dear. :(
I’ve generally had good experience with massage envy in Manassas. If you’re looking for good massage therapists.
